Halos de Jupiter-Viognier 2023
Vino Lady here pairing this Halos de Jupiter-Viognier 2023
The nose is oaky with hints of citrus fruit. It's very sour and will pair well with green apples and caramel or even chocolate dipped preztels. Perhaps try it with ghost pepper cheese or pepper jack, colby jack, or even a sharp cheddar.
Overall: While this isn't the best Viognier I've ever had, it also isn't the worst, the acid content was a bit high for my liking, this being said; having this alone is difficult. Serving food with it seems to tame the acid, sour taste down.
John Legend 2021 Rosé
Vino Lady here pairing this 2021 John Legend Rosé.
When you open the bottle, there is a floral scentwith a supple fruit and citrus flavors. This is a dry wine with a smooth finish, so I would pair this with a spicy cheese, such as; pepper jack or a ghost pepper, but a blue cheese would also bring out the flavors in this as well as buffalo chicken or maybe even a steak. Brat would also pull the fruit flavors forward in this wine.
Overall: I think this wine is well balanced and can go with a variety of fruits, cheeses, meats, and/or poultry.
Educated Guess Cab Sauv 2022
Very fruity, light and aromatic wine. Has a bit of an oaky aftertaste and it will pair well with smoked cheese, creamy cheese, and cheese that has a high odor to it! Stuffed peppers, pepperoncini, salads with or without fruit, and BBQ.
Overall: I liked this wine, it is a pleasant and well rounded wine. It wasn't overpowering with flavors and very food friendly.
Tower Series Cab Franc- Horton 2017
With smells like baking spices & cinnamon, it is smooth w/lots of fruit, but, has a slightly spicy finish. The body is a bit weak and will pair well with chicken, fish, or steak would also work as a marinade.
Overall: Not your average Cab Franc but not bad. It would go well with a variety of cuisines. Think outside the bottle with this wine and be adventurous.
Luquet Mâcon-Villages Chardonnay 2021:
This France Chardonnay has a golden hue, with a light floral aroma and light acidity. It will pair well with a white cream sauce, clams, or oysters. I think it would pair well with pizza, spaghetti, and red tomatoes with basil.
Overall: It's a nice light wine that goes well with a vaiety of foods such as; cucumbers, cream cheese, parmesean cheese, and blue cheese. I would also have this wine with Italian food and red sauces.
Eccentric Sauvignon Blanc 2022:
I found this wine to be dry white wine, mildly acidic so this is a food friendly wine. It has a mild fruity finish that I would pair with soft cheeses such as brie and goat cheese, a sharp cheddar and Colby jack cheese, fresh fruits and/or raw veggies would also compliment this wine. For a main dish Asian, Chinese, Thai, or fish dishes would bring out the wine maker's intentions for this wine.
Overall: Nice white wine that goes nicely on its own; chilled or paired with mild to spicy dishes. One could even use this wine in a cream sauce.
Kia Ora Sauvignon Blanc 2022:
Very floral nose and well rounded. Light and citrus flavors that give it a overall pleasing mouth feel.
I would pair this with chicken pasta dishes or seafood pasta dishes. For those that like the spicer side of dishes, this wine would compliment those dishes by calming the spices down a tad.
Overall : This wine is great on it's own, but with food(s) it brings the wine to life and completes your meal no matter what you're eating.

What a surprisingly good wine for the price! It goes well with lettuce wraps, spaghetti with or without meat. There is a nice complex smokey aftertaste, that would go well with grilled cuisine, BBQ, or a variety of hard cheeses.
Overall: Robert Mondavi's Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon has smooth notes with savory undertones, this inexpensive red wine is a good food friendly wine, it can be enjoyed on it's own or severed slightly chilled.
Malbado Malbec 2019: This Malbec pairs well with smoked cheeses, summer sausage, pepperoni, or prosciutto, hot dog or smoked sausage. I would also serve this wine with baked beans, grilled meats, BBQ ribs, brisket, or pork.
Overall: This is a smokey wine with hints of baking spices and cracked pepper. Try having this wine chilled or as a marinade, not a bad wine that was very earthy or smokey with smooth tannins.
Eccentric Malbec 2021: This wine would pair well with a variety of cheeses, both soft and hard, meats, such as chicken, steak, and some fish. Try to pair with salmon or shrimp. As well as, Italian foods, sausages, meatloaf, or lasagna. Overall: Lighter red wine for a Malbec. Would be good by itself or with food. Serve slightly chilled or try as a marinade for steaks or pork.

Overall: This wine is best served chilled, has hints of reisling and a nice crisp finish with strawberries and cherries. This is a very beautifully balanced wine.
Sur De Los Andes Malbec Reserva 2018: Would definitely pair with smelly cheese, like feta, blue cheese, and parmesan A salad would compliment this wine as would light fair food such as turkey, chicken, or fish.
Overall:I thought this was weak for a Malbec. It tasted more like a red wine blend. Baking spices and cherries are on the mouth feel with a smooth vanilla finish.
La Crema Sauvignon Blanc: This light wine pairs well with a variety of foods, both sweet and salty. Very good with turkey sticks and sharp cheddar cheese. It will tone down spicy foods like buffalo wings and pepper jack or ghost pepper cheese.
Overall, the aromas of fresh pears with a bouquet of flowers. Finishes with a semi-sweet, yet dry taste and is best served chilled.
Hawk Crest Cabernet Sauvignon: This wine would pair well with hamburgers, steaks, french fries, pepperoni, and salami. I would have prosciutto and mozzarella cheese and would also, will pair with chicken, turkey, and mixed veggies.
Smelled amazing with hints of baking spices like cinnamon, honey, and vanilla. Reminds me of cooked apple pie spice aroma. Light but spicy or peppery finish.
La Crema Pinot Noir 2021: Due to the youth of this wine, it is difficult to pair with any specific food that would compliment each other. I found that the wine is light, fruity, and ready to drink with or without food.
The wine was spicy and mild, with an aftertaste of oak. It is smooth but, light and I recommend it be chilled when serving.
La Crema Pinot Noir 2020: I would pair various meats; such as steak, burger, or non-fishy fish; i.e. salmon or shrimp.Chili w/meat and bread as well as spicy cheese would also compliment this wine. This could be used for Sangria as well.
When tasting, the wine was light, slightly peppery and had lots of fruit notes.
